We work all over the UK, but we believe in doing our bit for the local Crystal Palace community that is our home and has helped nurture and grow our business over the years. That's why we continue to get involved, when we can, in community based projects.

The Crystal Palace Local website was devised and built by the Gunpowder Studios team. It is a free-to-use, free-to-advertise directory that lists local businesses and organisations for local people to find and use. Since its launch in 2008, 600 organisations have added themselves to the directory, and it is fast becoming a popular local resource, securing regular daily visits from advertisers and users.

In version 2 of Crystal Palace Local, created with the support of Croydon Enterprise, we have transformed the site into a fully-featured community tool where local people can sign on and use the site to post content, including news, notices, an event calendar and online chat facility.

Behind the site is the hallmark creativity and technical ability of the Gunpowder Studios team - a showcase for us, and a new local landmark for the people of Crystal Palace.
